Reverberation Room (RVR)
Reverberation rooms are designed to create a diffuse or random incidence sound field. The goal is to create a highly diffused acoustic environment with a uniform distribution of acoustic energy over a short period of time. Unlike our other enclosures that absorb sound, a reverberation room is designed to trap and reflect sound. Reverberation rooms are used in acoustics as well as electrodynamics for applications such as measurement microphone calibration, measurement of sound power, and measurement of the absorption coefficient of various materials.
Simply put; reverberation rooms are used to measure a material or devices ability to absorb sound. Each room is custom tailored to your specific requirements, available space, and intended application. Our chambers achieve optimal acoustics per your requirements.
Acoustic performance varies based on your specific chamber/room - the size, the features, and the intended application gravely impacted these results.
Free Field Chamber (FFC)
Our Free Field Chambers are expertly designed and constructed chambers that achieve a professionally engineered space for error-free measurements. Where a full or semi anechoic chamber may not be feasible or necessary, or if your available space simply cannot accommodate the size, our Free Field Chambers are the next best thing. A full anechoic chamber has treatment applied to the ceiling, walls, and floor space, whereas a semi anechoic chamber has treatment applied to the ceiling, and walls, leaving the existing floor surface for heavier test items such as vehicle or equipment.
In a FFC, treatment is applied to the ceiling and walls, using the existing floor.

Treatment consists of our AMP-FFC's and a steel stand off structure that is attached to either your existing room or a room constructed of our modular S-Line Panels.
Acoustic performance varies based on your specific chamber/room - the size, the features, and the intended application gravely impacted these results.
Full Anechoic Chamber (FAC) / Semi Anechoic Chamber (SAC)
/ Portable Anechoic Chamber (PAC)
Reflection free enclosures expertly designed and constructed to achieve a professionally engineered space with a reflected sound pressure level of 10% and a sound absorption level of 99-100% for error-free measurements. In layman terms, our chambers are custom fabricated to provide you with a soundproof space that is an ideal acoustic environment. This ensures accurate measurements when conducting testing and/or research.
With a variety of chambers to choose from you’re sure to find your perfect fit:
Full Anechoic
Semi-Anechoic
Portable Anechoic
A full anechoic chamber has treatment applied to the ceiling, walls, and floor space, whereas a semi anechoic chamber has treatment applied to the ceiling, and walls, leaving the existing floor surface for heavier test items such as vehicles or equipment. A portable anechoic chambers are a cabinet type chamber available from 4 cu ft – 8 cu ft and are typically used for conducting tests on small equipment or devices. Our chambers achieve optimal acoustics per your requirements.
Anechoic chambers are used for these tests and measurements:
Acoustics, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio frequency (RF), antenna, microwave
